Moto-IGERT Trainee Presents Poster at SICB
Joanna Mandecki (Moto-IGERT trainee) presented a poster at the 2010 Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, on January 3-7, 2010. Her poster was titled "Synchrony of pectoral fin locomotion and eye movement in shiner perch (Cymatogaster aggregata)." and co-authored by Paolo Domenici and Duncan Reid. It is one of the first studies examining eye and limb movement coordination in fishes. Joanna's presentation at the meeting was supported by a Moto-IGERT training grant travel award.
